T1 station parking

Lindfield Park & Ride: when parking usually becomes tight.

Lindfield Village Green has underground parking below the park, with the vehicle entrance on Milray Street. ParkRide Planner monitors the separate 94-space Park & Ride feed and compares how its morning pattern changes by weekday.

Getting there

Enter from Milray Street, below the Village Green.

Ku-ring-gai Council locates Lindfield Village Green at 8-10 Tryon Road and identifies the car park entrance on Milray Street. The parking is underground beneath the public green, rather than a conventional station-side surface car park.

The distinction between total parking and the live commuter feed matters here. Council lists 241 spaces across the three-level car park: 105 commuter spaces and 136 general-public spaces. The Transport for NSW feed used by ParkRide Planner reports a 94-space monitored Park & Ride capacity. The app therefore does not claim to show every space beneath the Village Green.

  • Monitored Park & Ride capacity: 94 spaces.
  • Vehicle entrance: Milray Street, Lindfield.
  • Train line: T1 North Shore Line.

Current 12-week baseline

At 8 am, Friday typically has about 43 spaces. Other weekdays have almost none.

The Monday median is two available spaces at 8 am, while Tuesday to Thursday are at zero. Friday's median is 42.5 spaces at the same checkpoint and does not reach the practical-full threshold until about 9 am.

That is a substantial weekday effect in a small monitored facility.

Read the lines, not just the crossing: the shaded area marks the 12-space practical-full range. The app uses sustained confirmation rather than calling one low reading definitive.

In the app

Use the pattern, then check what is happening today.

A historical curve and a current space count answer different questions.

  • Plan shows Lindfield's typical practical-full time for each selected weekday.
  • Live parking shows the latest reported spaces and how old the reading is.
  • The station detail chart compares today's movement with the selected history.
  • None of these views reserves or guarantees a space.
