Join the tester group
The group exists only to grant closed-test access. Joining it does not add you to the ParkRide Planner email list. Only the group manager can view members or post.

Google Play may take a few minutes to recognise your access. Once it does, install ParkRide Planner or update to the latest testing build.

What to test
Use it as a commuter, then tell us the truth.
Live spaces, planning and commute alerts are the most useful things to exercise. Please report missing notifications, stale information, confusing wording, crashes or anything that makes a time-sensitive morning harder.
Important details
- This is a pre-release build, so bugs are possible.
- Parking availability and guidance are not guarantees.
- Supporter is optional and costs AUD 4.99 per year. Google Play may charge an ordinary closed tester who confirms the purchase. Do not buy it just to take part.
- Leaving the Google Group removes future closed-test access.

What to expect.
When will the Android app be released?
Closed testing is under way. We are hoping to launch publicly on Google Play in November 2026, depending on how testing goes. This is a target, not a firm promise.
Will Android look the same as iPhone?
It solves the same parking problems and uses the same ParkRide Planner data, but it is built as a native Android app rather than a visual copy of the iPhone version.
Will the core app be free?
The current plan keeps live parking, core 12-week Plan guidance and commute alerts available without subscribing. Optional Supporter features are being tested separately before release.
Is ParkRide Planner an official Transport for NSW app?
No. ParkRide Planner is independent, uses publicly available Transport for NSW parking data and is not affiliated with or endorsed by Transport for NSW.
